“LifeSpace Building was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Matt for our renovation.
We contracted Matt to completely renovate our house internally, including relocating and re-modeling the kitchen, bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Matt was very understanding of our circumstances, he was very flexible and accommodating, he adjusted his plans and scheduling to make it as easy and as comfortable as possible for us, as we needed to stay in the house through the renovations with 3 small children.
Matt was fantastic and extremely professional; he actually made our renovation very easy for us. He organized all of the other on-site trades, ordered and received all of the materials as well as fixtures and fittings. He was always on time, would pick materials up on his way to the site, rather than leaving during the day and always cleaned up before knocking off, we didn't have any dust issues and the kids never once stood on a nail or any other miscellaneous building material.
Matt was meticulous in ensuring that everything was lined up and matched perfectly as he was aware that we were renovating to sell and everything needed to look seamless, which was a bit of a task as we had a lot of "old meeting new" in the house and the old tended to be not level or straight.
Matt was right on his estimate in terms of cost and time, which again was imperative to us, as our budget didn't have a lot of contingency.
We couldn't be more pleased with the work Matt did, he's added 4 times the cost of the renovation to the value of our house. We cannot recommend LifeSpace Building highly enough; we will certainly be trying to get Matt again for our next project; we've already got him to inspect a couple of prospective properties.
